Antique mezzotint print, engraved by John Faber the Younger. Showing a portrait of Nath Oldham standing whole-length in three-quarter profile to left in landscape as if out shooting, holding shotgun, eyes to front, pointing at another man and dog behind at left, dog at this feet; Mr Nathaniel Oldham. eccentric and collector of natural specimens, served for a time in the army, in India; inherited wealth but died in poor circumstances. Friend of the portrait painter Joseph Highmore. Image, marked.and faded.
