Pp. 212, [1] + 23 leaves of plates. Original cloth, slight rubbing. Martin John Sutton was a British agriculturist. He was born in 1850 and died in 1913. His father and uncle founded the firm of Sutton and Sons, at the age of 21 Martin Sutton became a partner in the firm and in 1887 head of the firm. He was made a fellow of the Linnean Society and was a member of the National Agricultural Examinations Board. He wrote a number of papers on agricultural subjects.
