Description
Approx, 150 blank pages, (good condition). Size, approx, 13 x 8ins. The watermarked papers possibly manufactured by ?John Jones and John Mather, Afonwen Mill, Flintshire, North Wales. Quater calf, wear. There have been two paper mills at Afonwen. The first, Wheeler or Afonwen, Mill was in operation from 1786 until 1918. The second, Afonwen, Mill was in operation from about 1822 until 1874.
