Pp. xv, [2], 205, slight foxing + 14 Steel engraved plates from drawings made by Ruskin, re-etched by a Mr. Cuff for this edition. Original half morocco gilt. Raised spine bands with gilt decorated panels, slight rubbing. Gilt top edge. The book is structured with eight chapters; an introduction and one chapter for each of the seven 'Lamps', which represent the demands that good architecture must meet, expressed as directions in which the association of ideas may take the observer.
