Description
Original copper engraved hand coloured map showing a figure symbolizing the source of the Nile. Coronelli's maps were based on details which he had produced on globes in 1688. these large globes are very rare, as are the complete and separate gores. During his career Coronelli produced globes of various sizes, subsequently issued the gores in book form in 1693.
